EU Reg. 2016/679: Articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 - Rights of the data subject 

 

1. The data subject has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him/her are being processed, and their communication in an intelligible form, and the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. 

 

2. The data subject has the right to obtain information as regards: 

a. the origin of personal data; 

b. processing purposes and methods; 

c. the logic applied if the processing activity is carried out with the aid of electronic instruments; 

d. the identifying details of the Data Controller, Data Processor and the designated representative pursuant to Article 5, paragraph 2; 

e. the persons or categories of persons to whom the personal data may be communicated or may become aware of the data as an appointed representative in the country, managers or appointed persons; 

 

3. The data subject has the right to obtain: 

a. the updating, rectification, or, if desired, the integration of data; 

b. the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently processed; 

c. an attestation that the operations referred to in letters (a) and (b) have been brought to the attention of those to whom the data have been communicated or disseminated, also with regard to their content, except in the case in which this proves impossible or involves a use of means manifestly disproportionate to the protected right; 

d. data portability. 

 

4. The data subject has the right to object, in whole or in part: 

a. to the processing of personal data concerning him/her for legitimate reasons, even if pertinent to the purpose for which it was collected; 

b. to the processing of personal data concerning him/her for the purpose of sending advertising or direct sales material, for carrying out market research or commercial communications.
