“Volunteering and Ecosystems”:

An Event in the “I Venerdì del CSV di Vicenza” Series

On Friday, October 30, 2026, Aresline President Roberto Zuccato welcomed participants to the Federico Faggin Auditorium for “Volunteering and Ecosystems,” an event held as part of the eighth edition of “I Venerdì del CSV di Vicenza,” a series organized by the Vicenza Volunteer Service Center.

The event focused on Goal 15 of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, encouraging reflection on the importance of protecting terrestrial ecosystems and promoting sustainable development models.

The discussion was led by Maria Rita Dal Molin, Director of CSV Vicenza, and moderated by journalist Giulia Arnaldi.

Following opening remarks by Maria Grazia Bettale, President of CSV Vicenza, and Gianantonio Michelusi, Mayor of Thiene, the event featured contributions from:

  • Roberto Zuccato, President of Ares Line S.p.A.
  • Luciana Soliman, President of Agendo APS
  • Daniela Saltarin, Vice President of Plant-for-the-Planet Italia OdV and Co-founder of LabVerde
  • Roberto Longo, President of Alberi Felici APS
  • Susanna Marcucci, Founder and CEO of Alisea

The speakers' perspectives highlighted the importance of moving beyond the traditional divide between the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. Businesses, associations, institutions, and volunteer organizations can work together, bringing their expertise, perspectives, insights, and resources to shared goals.

Sustainability is not simply an environmental issue or a matter of corporate responsibility. It also shapes how we live, produce, consume, and interact with the communities and places around us.
