On Monday, July 8, 2024, the Arena of the renovated Palasport in Genoa (Italy) was presented in front of numerous personalities from the world of politics and sports. This pre-inauguration event precedes the official inauguration scheduled for mid-September, coinciding with the opening of the Genoa International Boat Show.

The building is the first part to be inaugurated in the new "Waterfront di Levante" district, located on the site of the former fairgrounds. The project was designed by architect Renzo Piano and his "Renzo Piano Building Workshop" in collaboration with CDS Holding.

4,000 Aresline seats distributed over eight petal-shaped grandstands, four fixed and four retractable. This includes approximately 1,200 folding seats installed on telescopic bleachers for flexible space modification.
