Technology and Design: The european perspective
Chiara Benedettini’s Interviews with Leading European System Integrators

 

Throughout 2025, we explored the dialogue between technology and design in the creation of collective spaces through the voices of those who engage with this dialogue every day in the field: system integrators.
With the new year, we are widening our scope. We move from Italy to Europe to understand whether—and to what extent—the perspective changes when the market, design culture, and the value chain of competencies evolve. More vertical markets, more specialized sectors, different stakeholders: when the variables change, does the outcome change as well? Or do the underlying needs remain universal?


We will explore this together with leading European system integrators and multimedia consultants, starting with two markets that are as different as they are representative: France and the United Kingdom. The interviews will be conducted by Chiara Benedettini, a journalist specializing in the professional audiovisual and systems integration sector, joined by Nicola Franceschi, Managing Director of Aresline, and Stefano Brunori, who completes the team with his perspective on the market and the company’s international projects.

Chiara Benedettini is a journalist and marketing and business development expert in the professional audio-video and systems integration field.

For over 15 years, she was the editor of the trade magazine Connessioni. She combined technical expertise with a caring attitude, helping to build relationships between designers, manufacturers, and people who use integrated technologies for work. Now, as a consultant, she talks to people from different backgrounds to design technology-based experiences and events that make technology easier for people to understand and see how useful it is.
