Museu do Amanhã

An architectural icon of the port of Rio de Janeiro, the "Museum of Tomorrow" is dedicated to the science that explores, imagines and designs all the possibilities of building the future.

Designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, the building's organic shapes were inspired by the bromeliads in the city's Botanical Gardens. It occupies an area of 15,000 square meters and is surrounded by pools, gardens, bicycle trails and a recreation space.

The elliptical auditorium is the beating heart of the museum. Completely paneled in wood for a strong aesthetic and acoustic effect, it is furnished with Eidos armchairs, whose clean-lined design fits perfectly with the details of the hall. The first few rows are set up with special armchairs with fixed seats.
