Chamber of the National Council of the Principality of Monaco

The new seat of the National Council - the unicameral parliament - of the Principality of Monaco was designed by Monegasque architect Jean-Michel Ughes and inaugurated in September 2012 by Prince Albert and Princess Charlène.

The building is characterized by balance between a “classic” part, which dialogues with the other buildings in the area, and a “modern” part, in which a transparent structure represents the metaphorical opening of the institutional headquarters.

The interior details were constructed by the designer, together with members of the Government and National Councilors, and developed with an emphasis on acoustic and environmental quality. Close attention was also paid to ecological aspects.

For this project, Aresline contributed the supply and installation of 120 Tempo armchairs with foldaway anti-panic writing tablets.
