The Maristudi Institute, at the ancient Arsenale di Venezia, is attended by officers who already commanded naval units. The structure includes the “Dante Alighieri” library, named since the Divine Comedy (Canto XXI of the Inferno, vv. 7 - 18) already described the Arsenale’s activities. The compound reached its peak in the fourteenth century when the floors were installed in the rooms now furnished with Eidos chairs on a rod, with mobile tip-proof feet without any floor anchoring.
