The Robert de Sorbon Foundation, named after the Sorbonne founder, organises courses in French Civilisation for the University, open to students all around the world. Due to its high public utility, it is directed by an institutional council, supervised by a ten-member commission that includes the Minister of the Interiors, of Foreign Affairs and the Rector of the Academy of Paris. For the auditorium of this French cultural hub, Eidos chairs were selected for the over 240 seats with seat back tables suited to the stepped room layout with an anti-panic flip system. Another special aspect is the “Flip-Up” armrest designed to promote quick student exit.
